Style linking doesn’t work as expected within Adobe applications.
MacOS Catalina (10.15.2)
fontmake (2.0.8)

  • InDesign 2020 (15.0.1)
    Very inconsistent behaviors
    Please look at the attached screen cast.

  • Illustrator 2020 (24.0.3)
    Very inconsistent behaviors

  • Photoshop 2020 (21.0.3)
    Very inconsistent behaviors

This behavior is similar in older versions of Adobe applications and older macOS versions.
It does work correctly on Offices applications (macOS and Windows).
