Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe
So ... last night I was trying to migrate the data volume of a container hosted on my NAS over to a new server I've set up. What a headache for something that should be so simple (I mean this as a criticism of Docker and not Portainer, by the way!)
I tried spinning up one of the various filedrop Docker images but they all choked on my upload (a few thousand images).
I tried the solution James suggested on the subreddit: install Portainer Agent and you can now browse volumes. The problem of course is that you can only add individual files.
Then I had the idea ... what if I just upload the volume export as an archive (which makes more sense anyway) ... if I could just expand it in Portainer I'd be set. But sadly it's not an option.
Describe the solution you'd like
If Agent had the ability to inflate/decompress archives uploaded into volumes through Portainer Agent it would solve an awful lot of frustrating headaches involved in importing data to volumes from other sources.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Tried setting up an rsync container, a file drop thing, even an FTP server. Gave up in frustration!
