Help Updating to 2.20.1

Hello

Im running portainer 2.19.4 and am trying to upgrade to 2.20.1

I originally installed following these instructions:

And am trying to update using these instructions:
https://docs.portainer.io/start/upgrade/docker
following the CE instructions

however when i am done and re-launch portainer it is still on 2.19.4

when executing the
docker pull portainer/portainer-ce:latest
it appeared to pull something the first time

when i tried to repeat all steps as i thought i could have made a mistake, it reported that i already had the latest version
Image is up to date for portainer/portainer-ce:latest

so i checked the Container Logs and it reports:
2024/04/05 09:27AM INF portainer/main.go:649 > starting Portainer | build_number=35428 go_version=1.20.5 image_tag=linux-amd64-2.19.4 nodejs_version=18.19.0 version=2.19.4 webpack_version=5.88.1 yarn_version=1.22.21

any advice?

You need to specify the Version, stable still points to 2.19

ok thanks for the response, the reason i was looking to update was that i received this message

and i beleive im running docker 26.0.0

am i ok to keep 2.19.4 for now? i havent noticed any issues so far

What's the issue?
The specific issue manifests in being unable to view image details or access the container console when running Portainer on a Docker 26.0.0 environment. This is a result of the removal of the Container and ContainerConfig fields from the response of Docker's GET /images/{name}/json API endpoint. Portainer's implementation relies on these fields existing in the response it receives from the Docker API, and as such an error is returned.

Apart from that i found nothing, i stay at 2.19.4 until 2.20 LTS gets released
