It would be nice if this keyboard supported the effect that the Corsair keyboard I had supported on Linux. It was where you would get a spectrum that was able to change based on music or sounds coming from the computer. The program would allow the keyboard to listen to sounds coming from a device, example, speaker. This was done by having the program record sounds from the device and show it as lighting on the keyboard. It also had a way to set static lighting, so the keyboard was always lit, even when sound was not generated.

The program I used was called "ckb-next".

Certainly would be nice to have a audio equalizer visualisation effect. First, the application needs to support software "scriptable" effects. No ETAs on this.

In the meantime, the OpenRazer Python library could be used directly to create such effect. Looks like there was a project back in 2017 that accomplished this: https://github.com/explodes/openrazer_effects

This was done with my corsair keyboard by just recording sound from a selected device in sound properties. An example is where I have a Bluetooth speaker connected to my system and all sound coming from that speaker is recorded. The keyboard would show is as a visualizer.
