useScroll issue with NextJs

I've been migrating a few components from gsap over the last few days to test the difference & so far so good. However, I seem to be having an issue with the useScroll hook that I can't get around.

Basically trying to use the container prop & it's not working. Tried wrapping in a forwardRef and conditionally calling the hook with no effect also.

I've created a sandbox if anyone can point me in the right direction.
