Outdated flask version

How to replicate the bug

pip install -r requirements.txt
run app

Other notes

Flask version isn't pinned and the newest version does not have the required functions anymore ...

Fails with depreciation error

AttributeError: 'Flask' object has no attribute 'before_first_request'. Did you mean '_get_first_request' ?
