What exactly should be updated?

Query parameters in the request are unaffected and are passed in the request to the app.

I believe our intent here is that we do not touch query parameters in a request NOR can we match query parameters in a rule. Assuming my interpretation is correct, we need to clarify that URL parameters can not be matched and are strictly in the realm of the application to handle.
