I would say it is common to load multiple sprite sheets in an asset bundle and I would also say that is it common to have the same name for textures of different sprite sheets. (For example, a sprite sheet represents a character and every sprite sheet has a stab.png for the stabbing motion)
Well right now there is no way without changing pixi source code to disable caching of every texture and therefor it is not possible to get rid of potentially thousands of warnings of the type:
Texture added to the cache with an id [stab.png] that already had an entry
Is there an elegant workaround I haven't seen jet? Or is the possibility to disable global texture caching for sprite sheets potentially a feature that should be added?
