Remote profile not loading #148
Comments
Can confirm on my newly set up instance. No global feed and remote users show up empty. btw, hello @keunes :) |
Seems to be intended behaviour as per pixelfed/pixelfed#3427 Still very confusing to me |
Huh, ok. Thanks for linking the issues. In my non-technical perspective that's a bit odd as it does seem to work on Mastodon (with a note that the information might be incomplete). Either way, if it is indeed desired behaviour and cannot be 'fixed', it would be good to at least show a note that explains the situation. |
I also find it counter-intuitive to not see all posts of the people I follow |
On a self-deployment instance, I'm having the same problem: when I search for any remote account profile on my deployed instance, it displays a blank page with no following/follower or posts searched account, but on my instance when I look at the same account profile by "View Remote Profile" option which comes when click on setting icon on the right of search profile icon, it displays accurate data with the number of following/follower and posts. Please let me know what's causing the problem and how I can resolve it. |

From 'my' instance:
From the host instance:
Seems like a duplicate of pixelfed/pixelfed#2540, though that one's closed and resolved long time ago. Might my issue be related to pixelfed/pixelfed#2727?
