XHP still offers many of the same highly desired syntax improvements found in JSX today. Is there a reliable and practical way to blend XHP with the latest PHP 8.0 improvements? As I understand it, XHP is retired at this point. Is that correct, and if so, does that mean it's strongly discouraged to use it?
Would it be so difficult to update it to be a worthwhile extension of modern PHP?
