Vimium seems to be disabled on all local files #502

Have you tried enabling the "Allow access to file URLs" checkbox in the Options -> Extensions list? Hit the triangle next to the Vimium icon to reveal the option. |
Ah, didn't see that option within chrome. I assumed that the extension was responsible for this behavior. My bad! |
@lamnatos, can you please explain where do I find "Allow access to file URLs" in Chrome? I do not see Options menu except when I go to Extensions. Then opening Vimium Options does not show the choice "Allow access to file URLs". |
The option to allow access to local files is not in the Vimium options. It's in the list of extensions:

When using Chrome to browse local files via file:/// , I can't use the navigation or other vimium commands. Is this a limitation of the underlying plugin framework?
