Thanks for reporting the issue @JohnsonJohncom<https://github.com/JohnsonJohncom> . This is the first report of this kind we are getting, so we don't have any immediate fixes. Need a bit more info to investigate:
1. Is Windows 10 updated?
Please run the following command in command prompt and paste the output in here:
C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Phoenix Code/Phoenix Code.exe" > o.txt
notepad o.txt
Replace <your user name> with your windows user name for the appropriate folder.

The user name may be different from the folder location. Just go to c:/users folder amd find the correct username matching your account. |
I did do that… my user is ADMIN as you can see in the attachment…
And.. I ran cmd as administrator, and cd../.. to C:\, then cd each time to the ‘Phoenix Code’ folder… after that.. what should I run when I get to that folder? Changing directory to Phoenix Code, there was no way to get a / as in your directions..
Thanks,

I am unable to repro this issue so it may take some time to get this addressed. None of the win 10 machines i had access to had this issue, so might need to understand the exact configuration/to debug this. Is there anything special about the install? Like version/corp firewall/network drive anything in particular. |
Describe the bug
When i click on the .exe to start Phoenix, there is a window flash, then it goes away, and phoenix will not start
Reproduction
Click on the .exe
Expected behavior
Should start the application, but it looks like it will start, as a window tries to populate, but dissappears.
OS, Browser and Phoenix versions
Chrome
logs or debug stack trace if any
Additional context
No response
