Your Environment

  • Uploader Version Number: 0,7.1 & 0.7.2 & 0.7.3
  • Your Android Phone Model Name (e.g. Samsung J1 Ace): Xiaomi Redmi Note 8
  • Android Version Number (e.g. use 4.4 for 4.4.4): 10
  • Network Connection at the time the issue occurred (Wi-Fi, Mobile): wifi
  • (if relevant) Nightscout website version (e.g. 0.8.4 Funnel cake, master / dev branch):

Brief Explanation

Dear developers! We are suffering a serious problem with the NS Uploader app. In the same time the 0.7.2. version had been reliesed our app (0.7.1) had not communicate with the link. We could see all the datas on the phone using for transmission (redmi note 8, abdroid 10) without any error code however on the link nothing had been shown for hours. As the problem came its disappered few hour later. It happaned 3 times. For solving the problem I tried to install the new versions, but both of them could crash othen. Yesterday evening I have been installed the older stabil version but the datalock happaned again 3 times in 24 hours. Now we have no data transmission to our link from the phone without any error message. Finally I instlled the latest version again but the problem not solved. We would be very tahnkful to your help.

There is an unresolved issue with 0.7.2 and 0.7.3 that may cause crashes for some users.

If I understand correctly you say you had a issue with readings showing up on your nightscout website? and this has been happening with 0.7.1 too?

Have you updated your nightscout site to Atlas? This change was a requirement by the online database provider for use with nightscout.
