Fresh Install doesn't renew SSL certificate

  • Passbolt Version: v2.13.5
  • Platform and Target:
    -- Operating system: Ubuntu 20.04
    -- PHP: 7.2.24
    -- Web server: Nginx 1.14.0
    -- Database server: mariadb 15.1

What you did

i have follow this :
https://help.passbolt.com/hosting/install/ce/ubuntu/ubuntu.html
to install my passbolt server on new aws install.
With all options in automatic as i can .

What happened

After 60 days of enjoying passbolt i discover few days ago the ssl was not valid anymore .

After some investigation we found the nginx need a reload to get the last certificate.

when i check the crontask of certbot in my machine i see renew without the --nginx option.

I'm wondering if the issue come from there ?

I'm not sure that is the right repo, but i have check the install repository and i see nothing about the cerbot script.

What you expected to happen

Certificate to renew without manual reload after a fresh install

Hello @ShannoneCtr,

Thank you for your feedback. This is actually a request for improvement and not a bug report, as this is the intended behavior. I will leave it in github as for other people to see it.

is there any update?

I would assume it's still a feature, not a bug.
