We need database storage for various reasons some include:

  • reminders
  • registering interests (such as graphql, mdx, rust) for being notified about future adventure clubs
  • possibly storing timezone information

The accounts that will enable per-user database storage are described in partycorgi/partycorgi#55

We will be able to use the cognito infrastructure and discord-account association to restrict the editing of a user's data to that user.
