The number of cores looks very promising for my project.

Is it possible to run full ROS / ROS-SLAM on it?

According to the Wiki, ROS armhf is supported in Ubuntu 18.04 "bionic" so in principle it should be possible to install ROS. However, note that Ubuntu is only running on the dual-core ARM host processor, not on the 16-core Epiphany processor, which requires custom software to run on it.

Thank you for the response. I will be back with, how ROS processes can be routed to these processors. I will continue to ask question as the multicore device looks promising to me. I hope to get support. :)
Keeping the issue open for future references and actually closing it later based on result.
