It would be very beneficial to have the media viewer support watermarks to protect images and the like from being downloaded or printed (ie. would be useful when a user does not have the download permission).

A brief search yields these libraries:

Let me know if this would be considered as a PR if not a priority within Owncloud.

I agree this sounds like a pretty neat feature, but I fear it won't be prioritized by the ownCloud web team in the near future. Open for contributions though! Would be neat to have this enable-able via e.g. a config param.

Currently we are implementing secure view for high sensitivity data:

owncloud/ocis#9068

So I am gonna close the issue in favor of that
