What does the invalid key param in the request look like?

There are two slashes in the key so it makes sense that this would not pass the validation. Are you using the docker image?

No, installation from source. But where can I configure this?

There is no configuration for this. This bug could make sense, but only if you're using a different commit to the one you specified – there was a bug in the source for about a week on main that had similar effects, but that was within the last couple of weeks not back in December.

Just updated to 0.75.0 with exactly the same error :/
