IMPORTANT: Renaming ouster_msgs to ouster_sensor_msgs starting with ouster_ros version 0.11

Starting with ouster_ros (ROS2) v0.11, the dependency package ouster_msgs included in this repository will be renamed to ouster_sensor_msgs. This was necessary in order to avoid name conflict with another package named that has the same when trying to register the official ouster_ros into the ROS index. For more background on the motivation behind this decision you can refer to the discussion within the closed PR: ros/rosdistro#38415

How could this affect you:

• This only affects users consuming the ROS2 version of the official ouster_ros driver
• If you merely consume ouster_ros package and don't have direct dependency on ouster_msgs package (now ouster_sensor_msgs) then no code or dependency changes are needed. However, any bag file recorded using ouster_ros prior to v0.11 can not be replayed using can not be readily replayed using ouster_ros v0.11 (or later) and vice versa due to the variance of the message prefix.
• If your ROS2 workspace makes direct reference to the ouster_msgs package (i.e. you declared it as a dependency within your package.xml) then you would need to update your list of dependency such that it references the new name ouster_sensor_msgs when you update to ouster_ros v0.11.
  • In turn, you will need to update your code to reflect the change in namespace and header file path if your code consumes any of the following objects: msg::PacketMsg, srv::GetMetadata, srv::GetConfig and srv::SetConfig.

This package name change will initially be applied to ROS2 main branch (affecting rolling, humble, iron distro) and then the ROS2 foxy branch (affecting galactic and foxy).
