What was your highlight from last year

  • Hack CU! We sent 10 people to Boulder, Colorado for the HackCU hackathon. Two of our teams won prizes.
  • 4chan We purchased a controlling share in the NASDAQ:4CHAN IPO and therefore a controlling share of the internet

What is/are the project(s) your Club worked on

What was the most challenging issue that your Club had to deal with

  • Massive increase in attendance and how to keep those people coming back.
  • How to integrate new members who arrive mid semester.
  • Lack of diversity

As the Club's leadership, what would be something that you would like to stop doing?

  • Being a clique. Our club started as a group of friends and has grown from there. We would like to improve our club's mentality so it doesn't feel hard for people to break into the club.

As the Club's leadership, what would be something that you would like to start doing?

  • We want to start doing regular onboarding events to allow new members to get properly introduced to the club's organization and members.
  • We would like to host social events where members of the club can get together and get to know each other in a setting outside our regular meetings.

As the Club's leadership, what would be something that you would like to continue doing?

  • Our club has had a strong selection of tech talks that featured great presentations from industry leaders. We want to continue our strong selection as the feedback from members was great.
  • We want to continue to have successful projects that produce real, demonstrable results.

Please something that you would like to share with the Open Source Student Network
