A tracking list for moving Spacedrive back onto rspc:

Required

  • Finish breaking jsonrpc executor out of the core
  • New procedure syntax backported
  • Specta v2 support (+ remove Result from it)
  • Ensure no blocking in batches, or Axum websocket or Tauri links cause these bugs have been far too common.

Nice to haves

  • Subscription start/complete messages (would help with the streamed queries mess)
  • Streamed queries
  • Streaming within batches. (with websockets specifically).
  • Invalidation system
  • Tracing
  • File streaming
  • File uploads
