I'm happy to write about how content delivery networks work, probably for a 101 piece to begin with to at least get something written. I can't see anywhere in the repo right now where it would naturally fit; anyone have any thoughts on that?

(I do see some reference to Varnish, which is cool, but that's a caching layer and although central to at least one CDN, is a different topic to write about).

He's just being funny and saying that putting your files on github isn't using a cdn.

Oh, hah; :)
But, yeah, some proper CDN content would be good. Might just write some stuff and submit a PR.
