Notes for developers

To extract format list from John's ouput:
run/john | perl -ne '$f = 1 if /^--format/; $f = 0 if /^--[^f]/; print "$1\n" while m!([-\w\(\)]+)(/|$)!g and $f; ' > format-list
Drop 'md5-gen' out, it will be replaced with subformats list.

To add subformats list to existing one:
run/john -subformat=list | perl -ne 'print "$1\n" if /type =\s+(.*)$/' >> format-list
I am not sure about this way so check output by your eyes.

To prepare part of ui for the list:
perl -ne 'chomp; print "<item><property name=\"text\"><string>$_</string></property></item>\n"' format-list > format-list.partui
Then reformat it using designer/qtcreator.
