I am not sure how this feature is called.
Maybe it is part of IntellISense?!

When I am using VScode to tinker with my Arduino (C++ ?) I can Ctrl + Mouseover a function to see a preview of the content of the function.

Ctrl + Mouseoverclick opens the file where the function is defined and the cursor jumps to it.

I think this would be very useful for items, things etc.
