Ideally, for security reasons, root on a machine should not ssh as root on another machine.
This avoid for example, burning backups in case of a breach.
ZFS seems to support it through a feature called delegation (reference here)
and it seems usable with sanoid / syncoid (see end of article above, and this thread)
Test it and use it as much as possible.
