It is not possible to receive data about products and categories and ... with Opencart API

So far in my testing, there is no way to get data about products ,categories ,manufacturers and ... with opencart API.

Was there a specific reason that this feature was not implemented?

i think that would need too be built in as an extension. im not sure what data ur talking about? just the general info or reports?

I think about general info.

Assume that a Third-Party App wants to display the available categories in the store, and by clicking on each of them, the list of products of that category will be displayed, and the user can order them by clicking on add to cart.

There is an add to cart and order step in the API, but not before.

I can do this part if you want.
