Use templates for generating a space

In order to prevent unwanted commits as in #3 (comment), we could consider using more configuration templating as in ome/openmicroscopy#4093 generate new files rather than modifying them in-situ.

Just realized, the down-side of this is that all the changes to the job will be lost. Maybe rename should create a commit with the diff so it's easier to detect the problem?
