Hi, I know this might not be the ideal place to ask, but I'm not sure if it's me not understanding the integration/app or if I'm just not grasping the purpose of remote start.

From what I understand, the only way to make remote start work is to enable it on the device first. In what circumstances do you use it?

I mean, I could understand using remote start on the washer if I've already loaded it but forgot to start it, so I could remotely restart it. However, if I still need to physically push the button on the washer, it seems pointless. Similarly, I could restart the dryer for bedding that I know takes 2-3 cycles to dry, or for shirts that I can't fold right away to avoid wrinkles. But again, it's pointless if I still need to press the remote start button physically.

Thanks

My use case is for cheaper electricity.
Preload washer, hit remote start, then use Home assistant as a timer to kick it off at 00:30 when my cheap energy rate kicks in.

Limitation is not in integration but in Api. LG do not allow to send remote command if remote start is not enabled.
