On 2nd October 2017, I got a receipt email from Stripe stating that Nylas has charged me for $84 ! To which I recalled that I had cancelled my subscription on 31 Jan 2017.
Immediately I emailed Support and here's a reply from Sachin Agarwal:

I did cancel and got $83.70 refund. But the biggest question is ... how did Nylas even charged me without me subscribing to their plan? I sent refund request twice and got the exact same reply.
I emailed Stripe but their response is very disappointing. TLDR, Stripe doesn't care how merchants are doing this horrible practice of charging customers who don't use the service.

@ozzyosborne680 I was on the free plan too but I had entered credit card info because in 2016 while signing up with coupon code, they asked for credit card info.
I had prorated amount refunded. Tried contacting Stripe for Nylas' unauthorized charge. Unfortunately, Stripe brushed me off but helped me removed my cc details however, I no longer trust Stripe.
Last resort, my bank advised me to just block the card so Nylas couldn't charge me again.
