Passing parameters to dotnet build through nx build?

I'm looking to pass the version number from my pipeline to the build command for my .net projects through the nx build command within the build pipeline. This way I can easily set the assembly version based off the version in our pipeline. I see there is an extra parameters option but I'm getting errors and just wondering if anyone has advice on doing this. Thanks!
