I have issues with .kv files. Here is my custom configuration in lua:

local ft = require("Comment.ft")
`vim.cmd([[

au Bufread,BufNewFile *.kv set filetype=kivy shiftwidth=4 tabstop=4 softtabstop=4 expandtab ft.kivy='#%s'

]])`
