Review Eslint config

There's a lot of comments disabling various Eslint rules in the code. Perhaps we shouldn't check for those if we don't want to comply. I'd aim to have a set of rules and stick to them with very rare exceptions, and disable rules that are disabled in comments. Might need a chat to agree upon a set of rules.
