On keyboards without a numpad typing in equations has the minus key mapped to minus but has the plus key mapped to creating an integral. This is because in order to type plus on a keyboard you need to do +<=> which the emulator emulates by doing +<=> on the calculator which isn't the plus sign as the calculator has a dedicated button for that.
