Test results: Minimalist aluminium heatsinks + 8cm fan (5v) as cover for OKdo plastic case #96

Test conditions

  • Raspberry Pi 4 8G was fitted with a set of 4 minimalistic aluminium heatskins (1).
  • Fan: recycled (from old desktop case) 8 cm model running at 5V using an external Multi Voltage Power Adapter (2).
  • Case: OKdo ABS plastic with top cover removed (3).
  • Room temperature while running the test was: 16º Celsius.
  • Raspberry Pi was overclocked at 2000MHZ with overvoltage of 3.

Sidenote 1: Fan is pulling the air out.
Sidenote 2: Ugly green foam under case serves to dampen/reduce the noise/vibrations from the fan.
Sidenote 3: Flash enhanced dust courtesy of 6 months of use.
