Stops sending VISCA TCP PTZ commands on Windows

In OBS on Windows after running for a few minutes VISCA PTZ over IP stops working. The face tracking clearly continues to work as I can see the overlaid tracking boxes. Is there any setting that may be affecting this or anything to look for? It works great until it stops sending PTZ commands.

There is a pause-feature triggered by a hotkey Pause Face Tracker PTZ. Just in case you have configured the hotkey, could you check hotkey settings?

If the problem persists, could you provide a log file with the failure? You can find the log file by steps below.

1. Press WinKey+R to open the Run dialog
2. Paste the following into the box and hit OK: %APPDATA%\obs-studio\logs
3. Find the desired log file (usually the latest) and drag/drop it into this channel.

Thanks! I will look into this further and get back to you. For the moment I found a workaround using obs ptz and using the "through ptz controls" option...

The option VISCA over IP was a deprecated feature in old version and was removed after 0.4.2.
I'd like to suggest using the latest version with through PTZ Controls.

The reason to deprecate the feature was that VISCA-over-IP (or over-UDP) requires to listen on a fixed UDP port, which conflict with the PTZ Controls plugin as discussed in this post.
