Dear corepack Team,

Greetings! We have noticed that corepack by default offers yarn and pnpm as pre-configured package managers. We would like to apply for the inclusion of cnpm in corepack's supported list.

cnpm primarily serves Chinese developers by providing dependency installation services. We have been providing free mirror services to Chinese developers for the past 10 years and commit to continue offering these services for free in the future. We have developed a unique npminstall method for organizing dependencies, while also supporting the standard npm mode for dependency installation. Additionally, we offer mirror services for all npm packages to Chinese developers, with more than 35 billion downloads in the past year.

Our services and advantages include:

  • An independent cnpm client, which by default uses registry.npmmirror.com as default registry.
  • A new npminstall method, an optional configuration that offers developers more flexibility.
  • Independent registry mirror and a web site, providing developers with efficient and stable access.

We are keen on having cnpm join the list of pre-configured package managers in corepack.
Should there be any specific application requirements or additional information needed from our side, please let us know.
Thank you once again for your consideration and support.
