Finalizing Bootspec, we discovered that
nixos-rebuild switchhas support for different profiles (--profile-nameflag), this is some form of switching-time "specialisation".Currently, we collect all generations links through:
/nix/var/nix/profiles/system-*-link, but that's wrong with respect to multiple profiles.When you create a profile, you have a
/nix/var/nix/profiles/system-profiles/<profile-name>-*.Bootspec is also about handling "multiple profiles", apparently, systemd-boot and GRUB supports them, we do not.
