What do the results of an array inside an object mean?

I'm working on a React app with NodeJS as backend that requires fulltext search... However I'm gaving some issues...

• In the app I want to be able to write content I submit into a local file ✔ done
• I want to index that file and search through it with flexsearch (which could hopefully be on an API endpoint) ❓

If I understand this correctly, in my scenario I would need to:

• when user submits --> update the file where all my data is and update the flexsearch index files
• when I want to search --> I need to use flexsearch.search to find the id's of the matching content, and then read find that in my save file?

Because the results from .search() return to me only ids.

UPDATING THE QUESTION

I have experimented with this and it all works, but I still don't understand what the results I get are...

My records look like this;

I want to be able to search by transcript[number].transcript. I read my file and add to index like so:

I then search it like so:

And then the search returns this:

What is the interpretation of the result? I know when i get that for example record:url it's the id, should that be the case here as well? Or does this mean it found 5 objects in the transcripts array as a result, however, since they don't have id's it returns the id of the main transcript?

And now I could theoretically search that file and get the object with the results' id? Or is there a way to get the whole object immediately? Because enrich: true doesn't give whole object.

Am I missing something here?

Also, to get the exact transcript object which it found I would need to have id's inside the array which is not allowed?

To answer myself and anyone who may be lost, I forgot to include enrich: true when searching so it didn't return any data...
