With the exception of the frontend interface, because that's probably fine.

Architecture idea:
Serve static page on nextie.us(?), adds music to firebase db
Pi pops songs off firebase queue and streams them instead of downloading

Unclear if it's worth the effort.
Might be fine just to change the current architecture to stream instead of download.
