When working with a JupyterHub alongside another machine running JupyterLab (or Jupyter Classic), it's quite common to forget where you are actually working. Was it on localhost, or was it on hub.neurohackademy.org, or was it on mybinder.org? Having a visual clue could be useful.

I'm not sure how to best go about it, but it could make sense to see if one could make some minor adjustment in the UI to accomplish this.
