Environment

  • netutils version: 1.1

Proposed Functionality

The ability to translate configurations within an OS to different types. Such as from set to curly bracket, or from curly bracket to XML.

Use Case

Occasionally it is easier to backup configurations in one format, but compared and push in another.

  • Palo Alto - The backup configurations from xml (since it has the panorama configs as well) but compare the set commands
  • Juniper - The backup in curly but comparison in set \
  • Any case in which the data is stored in a more machine readable format, but still require a more human readable format.
