The geodata package has feature sources for geojson and ogc api features.

For geojson file or web resource data source, add a property of sourceCrs to tell what coordinate reference system is expected on a data source.

Add capability to provide a projection from source to target crs at leat for geojson feature source. Check also ogc api features feature source.
