This how-to suggestion proposes to compile various methods of querying granules from the CMR using Python, which can be linked to https://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/information/documents?title=Data%20Access. It will show how to query granules from a single collection, such as GPM.

This can contain the following methods:

  • Querying granules with python-cmr, requests (CMR), possibly the GES DISC subsetter
  • Various CMR querying parameters including bounding boxes, etc
  • Query S3, OPeNDAP, and cloud/on-prem HTTPS URLs

We may want to deprecate "How to Obtain a List of S3 URLs for a GES DISC Collection Using the CMR API" and replace it with this how-to.
