I’ve noticed that development has resumed. In the years that this project was dead I was using aleab’s fork which has seen a lot of new features, fixes and improvements. Would it be possible for the resumed development to build on all that work instead of starting over from the 2016 pre-fork state?

It think this would be a great idea!

@nachmore Why don't you look at the branch and see what is too far behind and what could be salvaged. Maybe you could see if you could get aleab to work on a more merge-friendly version if it is too many commits out.

It didn't merge cleanly as expected. It will probably take some effort to get it in sync if the changes are non-trivial.
