phpBB allows to leave a shadow topic in place when moving, which is essentially a redirect to the new url. MyBB provides similar functionality.

After merge such topics are displayed in the forums, but attempting to access them results in "The specified thread does not exist".

This is a 10 year old bug, apparently.

Hello,

I've got the latest MyBB running locally, when i'm moving a thread it doesn't give me the option to leave a redirect like phpBB does?

Thanks,
Brad.

Do you actually have more than one forum?

Looks like some UI inconsistency. I get the same when moving from forum view.

@euantorano is that preferable to using github?

@burner1024 @veryard - it is a bug, extra options are missing, please push to GitHub or MyBB (preferably)
