Followup to comment in #9 , there are cases of "alternate" pronunciations which isn't taken into account in Mya2Rom.
For example:
စွမ်း is given two pronunciations in Wikitionary (and SEALang):
/swáɴ/ (/swá̃/)
/sʊ́ɴ/ (/sú̃/)
Mya2Rom currently only transcribes it as /sʊ́ɴ/.
In words like စွမ်းအင် is listed as being pronounced /swáɴʔ ɪ̀ɴ/ (/swá̃ ì̃/), with no mention of an alternative /sʊ́ɴ ɪ̀ɴ/ (/sú̃ ì̃/). This could either mean the alternative is not acceptable, or it was left out deliberately or due to oversight. (Native speakers, please do weigh in ;) )
Regardless, this "issue" is more for alternative pronunciations such as these (barring special Pali, Sanskrit and loan-word pronunciations), and how to deal with them in Mya2Rom.
