I know this is probably not "malicious", but I just find it really weird and wanted to share it with you.
profile_events.json contains multiple entries referencing a "carrier profile", but I don't remember swapping phone networks, and I don't understand why the profile id is called "gavins-macbook-pro". I have never installed profiles except for the official apple beta profile.
iOS 14.5 backup from 2 years ago, iPhone 12 Pro Max. No "detections" were found. However, I do remember that my phone kept failing to update iOS via OTA, and I had to do it via my computer.
I have the same exact thing. I’ve been having issues with receiving iMessages from people. I can send them and I could see the “…” indicating they were responding, but they wouldn’t come through. If I was lucky I’d get them on my MacBook. A lot of other strange behaviors have been occurring with my phone. Did you ever figure out what this was?
