Well had that issue also.
To Solve it deselect mysqli
And select nd_mysqli.
thy are conflicting so its one of them.
after that it works for me.

I'll look into this, would be best if there are as few compatibility or conflicting issue as possible.
Will start on this as soon as I get time.
