why you guys dont port .js to .ts gradually instead of making lots of d.ts? #16822

I am a new guy ,I just find if someone wants to modify some code , they have to change 2 places, . js and .d.ts , it's very difficult to maintainan the code. and there are still lots of method params between js and .d.ts are different in the codebase.
and It's very inconvenient when jump code in vscode.
