Public Scientific paper: http://arxiv.org/pdf/1402.1515v1.pdf

The summation signs are not rendering correctly, and also the braces (see eq 1, for example). Problem only occurs using "automatic zoom" or low zoom values (< 200%) on my machine (1920x1080 resolution).

I cannot reproduce this, using: Windows 7 (64-bit), Firefox Nightly 33 (buildID: 20140717030339) with HWA on, and PDF.js 1.0.456.

@ztowfic Please provide more information about your configuration, such as: "[...] screenshot, browser version, operating system, PDF.js version and JavaScript console warning/error messages.".
(See the first paragraph at: https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md)

Sorry. Running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS x64 Firefox 30.0 [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0], PDF.js version 1.0.456. I couldn't find any JS error/warning messages on web console. Firefox uses HWA if available. Graphics is the following (obtained via about:support):

I hope this helps.

I noticed that the same issue happens in chrome when using the "demo":
http://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/web/viewer.html

I just downloaded that pdf and opened it in the viewer and the same issue occurred under automatic zoom:

And with "page width" zoom:
